For each new style that we design a series of prototypes are made till we feel like we have perfected the style, color and fit. Once the sample is perfected we create several sets that are distributed to our sales showrooms, used for photoshoots and final production approvals. This leaves us with a LOT of samples! They are typically in great condition and deserve to be re-homed, worn and loved - not stuck in a bin in our office!
OK I bought 2 of these in different sizes -- one for me and one for a friend who also loves sweaters. Problem is, we go to all the same places and she wore hers first. Now every time I wear mine, everyone says "Hey, are you wearing so-and-so's sweater??" Sigh. Poor planning on my part. Awesome sweater on Callahan's part! I love how it's a substantial sweater, but it never looses it's shape -- it's held up well for a few months now with regular washing and I don't baby it much. It has not stretched or shrunk or pilled. Great fabric and I love that I can wear it with leggings when so many other tops are getting kinda short for that. Thanks for another fav Callahan!!
